This itinerary is designed for Yoga and Fit practitioners who want to experience the best of Korea food, nightlife, and sightseeing in 7 days. It includes a mix of popular attractions and hidden gems.
Day 1- Arrival and Welcome
Depending on your flight schedule, airport pick up and hotel check in. We will have a short cozy welcome session to meet your trip guides. In the hotel room, relax from your long flight until you’re ready to go to the spa.
Morning and Afternoon optional Spa: Head to a Korean spa (jjimjilbang) for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Enjoy soaking in hot baths, sweating in saunas, and indulging in various spa treatments. There is a food court inside the spa with a variety of yummy food to choose from. This is a flexible schedule time, you’re welcome to go anytime and stay as long as you like.
Evening: We’ve built in some downtime in the evening to help you adjust to the time difference (jet lag is real!). If you’re feeling up for it, let’s explore the area around the hotel for delicious authentic Korean cuisine.
Day 2: Morning Yoga & Gyeongbokgung Palace (Light Activity)
Start your day with a rejuvenating morning yoga session led by a certified instructor. Focus on gentle stretches and mindful breathing to ease into your practice. Have your energetic breakfast at the hotel.
In the afternoon, visit Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest royal palace in Seoul. Witness the changing of the Royal Guard ceremony (if timed correctly) and marvel at the intricate architecture. Have authentic Korean lunch.
Evening: Enjoy a delectable vegetarian or vegan dinner at a cozy restaurant in Ikseon-dong, a trendy neighborhood known for its independent shops and artistic atmosphere.
Day 3: Nature Retreat and Meditation
Morning: Breakfast at Hotel. Embark on a nature retreat to Bukhansan National Park. Take a guided hike through lush forests and scenic trails, practicing walking meditation and mindfulness along the way.
Afternoon: Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the natural beauty of Bukhansan National Park. Take time for silent reflection or meditation in nature.
Evening: Return to your accommodation for a soothing Yin yoga session. Focus on deep stretches and relaxation to release tension and promote inner peace. Private dinner setup for unique dining experience.
Day 4: Wellness Workshop and Spa Day
Morning: Attend a wellness workshop focused on holistic health and self-care practices. Learn about nutrition, mindfulness, and stress management techniques to support your well-being. Have a healthy breakfast.
Afternoon: After your wellness workshop ascend to the top of N Seoul Tower for breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Secure your everlasting love with a symbolic lock on the iconic fence. Lunch at Tower (The Place course meals).
Evening: Conclude the day with a gentle yoga nidra (yogic sleep) session to promote deep relaxation and restful sleep. Reflect on your journey so far and set intentions for the remaining days of the retreat. Enjoy the famous Korean different types of noodles and or soup dishes.
Day 5: Cultural Immersion and Yoga Fusion
Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel and participate in a cultural immersion experience, such as a traditional tea ceremony. Immerse yourself in Korean culture and connect with the present moment.
Afternoon: Enjoy a fusion yoga session combining elements of vinyasa flow and traditional Korean martial arts (such as Taekwondo or Tai Chi). Focus on strength, balance, and mindfulness. Followed by Korean BBQ, you must try it when in Korea.
Evening: Join a guided meditation session to cultivate inner peace and clarity. Reflect on the insights gained during the retreat and express gratitude for the experience. Farewell dinner with fellow retreat participants, sharing stories and memories from your time together. Experience Chimaek The word “chimaek” is a combination of the words “chicken” and “maekju,” which means beer in Korean. Optional bar hop with fusion food at Itaewon district.
Day 6: Integration and Departure
Morning: Conclude your retreat with a final morning yoga session, focusing on gratitude and integration. Set intentions for how you will carry the benefits of the retreat into your daily life.
Depending on your departure time, you may have some time for some last-minute shopping before heading to the airport for your departure flight.
