This itinerary is designed for adventures who want to experience the best of Korea food, nightlife, and sightseeing in 6 days. It includes a mix of popular attractions and hidden gems.
Day 1- Arrival and Welcome
Depending on your flight schedule, airport pick up and hotel check in. We may have a short cozy welcome session to meet the crew and staff. In the hotel room, relax from your long flight.
Morning and Afternoon optional Spa: Head to a Korean spa (jjimjilbang) for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Enjoy soaking in hot baths, sweating in saunas, and indulging in various spa treatments. There is a food court inside the spa with a variety of yummy food to choose from. This is a flexible schedule time, you’re welcome to go anytime and stay as long as you like.
We’ve built in some downtime in the evening to help you adjust to the time difference (jet lag is real!). Enjoy a relaxed dinner at a local restaurant near Insadong. Sample classic Korean dishes like japchae (glass noodles) or bibimbap (mixed rice with vegetables and meat) in a comfortable setting.
Day 2: Palaces & Foodie Delights
Morning: Optional breakfast at the hotel. Start your day with a visit to Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest royal palace in Seoul. Witness the changing of the Royal Guard ceremony (if timed correctly) and marvel at the intricate architecture.
Afternoon: Dive into Seoul’s vibrant food scene with a guided afternoon food tour. Explore hidden alleys and bustling markets, indulging in a variety of street food delicacies like tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and kimbap (seaweed rice rolls). Learn about Korean food culture from your local guide.
Evening: Go and enjoy a delicious Korean BBQ dinner. Grill your favorite meats and vegetables at your table, accompanied by a symphony of traditional side dishes.
Day 3: Bukchon Hanok & Modern Marvels
Morning: Optional breakfast at the hotel. Feeling more energized? Explore Bukchon Hanok Village, a traditional Korean village with charming alleys and houses dating back to the Joseon Dynasty. Rent a hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) for a unique photo opportunity and immerse yourself in the village’s historical charm.
Afternoon: We are headed to Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), a futuristic architectural landmark. Explore the shops and cafes housed within this iconic structure, showcasing cutting-edge Korean design.
Evening: take a leisurely cruise on the Han River, offering stunning city views and a relaxing way to unwind. Experience Chimaek The word “chimaek” is a combination of the words “chicken” and “maekju,” which means beer in Korean.
Day 4: Cultural Exploration
Morning: Optional breakfast at the Hotel. Stroll along Insadong Street, known for its traditional Korean crafts, tea houses, and street food.
Afternoon: Visit the tranquil Changdeokgung Palace and its stunning Secret Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Evening: Experience a traditional Korean performance at Nanta Theater or the Korea House. Enjoy dinner at a nearby restaurant specializing in Korean barbecue. Optional Street Food area after Nanta. NOTE: Nanta is 90 mins long early at 5pm showing, then grab food afterwards.
Day 5: N Seoul Tower & Artistic Expression (Moderate Activity)
Morning: have breakfast at the hotel. Ascend to the top of N Seoul Tower for breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Secure your everlasting love with a symbolic lock on the iconic fence.
Afternoon: Let’s explore the vibrant neighborhood of Hongdae, a hub for young artists and trendy shops. Browse unique art galleries, catch a street performance, or visit a themed cafe for a fun experience.
Evening: experience the glitz and glam of Gangnam! Visit the iconic Gangnam sign for a photo opportunity and explore the upscale neighborhood. Indulge in upscale shopping or grab drinks at a trendy bar. Explore COEX Mall, one of the largest underground shopping malls in Asia, and enjoy dinner at a trendy restaurant.
Day 6: Relax and Departure
Sleep in and enjoy a final leisurely breakfast at your hotel. Depending on your departure time, you may have some time for some last-minute shopping before heading to the airport for your departure flight.
Reflect on your incredible journey as you transfer to the airport, carrying unforgettable memories of Seoul’s rich culture, delectable cuisine, and captivating energy.
