This itinerary is designed for drinkers who want to experience the best of Korea food, nightlife, and sightseeing in 6 days. It includes a mix of popular attractions and hidden gems.
Day 1- Arrival and Welcome
Depending on your flight schedule, airport pick up and hotel check in. We will have a short cozy welcome session to meet your trip guides. In the hotel room, relax from your long flight until you’re ready to go to the spa. Cost
Morning and Afternoon optional Spa: Head to a Korean spa (jjimjilbang) for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Enjoy soaking in hot baths, sweating in saunas, and indulging in various spa treatments. There is a food court inside the spa with a variety of yummy food to choose from. This is a flexible schedule time, you’re welcome to go anytime and stay as long as you like.
Evening: We’ve built in some downtime in the evening to help you adjust to the time difference (jet lag is real!). If you’re feeling up for it, let’s explore the area around the hotel for delicious vegetarian cuisine.
Day 2: Cultural Exploration and Craft Beer Tasting
Morning: After having breakfast at the hotel, visit Gyeongbokgung Palace and explore Bukchon Hanok Village to immerse yourself in Korean culture and history.
Afternoon: Head to the Insadong area for lunch and explore the traditional tea houses and art galleries. Then, visit a local craft brewery for a tasting session of Korean craft beers.
Evening: Enjoy a night out in Itaewon, known for its diverse dining scene and international crowd. Try Korean fusion cuisine at one of the trendy restaurants followed by cocktails at a speakeasy or rooftop bar. Experience Chimaek The word “chimaek” is a combination of the words “chicken” and “maekju,” which means beer in Korean.
Day 3: Street Food Tour and Karaoke Night
Morning: Start your day with a walking tour of Gwangjang Market, one of Seoul’s oldest and largest traditional markets, known for its street food stalls.
Afternoon: Explore the Dongdaemun area and visit Dongdaemun Design Plaza. Take a break with more street food or Korean snacks.
Evening: Korean BBQ experience. Optional Korean nightlife with a private karaoke room (noraebang) session. Sing your heart out with your favorite tunes and enjoy drinks and snacks in between performances.
Day 4: Distillery Tour and Night Market
Morning: Take a tour of a traditional Korean liquor distillery to learn about the production process of drinks like soju, makgeolli, and Korean whiskey.
Afternoon: Explore the trendy neighborhood of Yeonnam-dong and enjoy lunch at a hip cafe or restaurant.
Evening: Visit the lively neighborhood of Namdaemun and stroll through Namdaemun Night Market. Sample a variety of Korean street food and enjoy the bustling atmosphere.
Day 5: Palace Visit and Soju Tasting
Morning: After your breakfast at the hotel. Visit Changdeokgung Palace and its beautiful Secret Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Afternoon: Head to the trendy district of Samcheong-dong for lunch and explore the charming streets lined with cafes, galleries, and boutiques.
Evening: Join a guided soju tasting tour to sample different varieties of Korea’s most popular liquor. Learn about its history and cultural significance while enjoying snacks and small plates.
Day 6: Relax and Departure
Sleep in and enjoy a final leisurely breakfast at your hotel. Depending on your departure time, you may have some time for some last-minute shopping before heading to the airport for your departure flight.
